Overview

The SEND peer network meets regularly throughout the year. The peer network is for colleagues working in education, health and care.  This work is funded through a subscription model.

Each of the 15 Local Authorities and 7 Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) pay £500 for 2 delegates or £750 for 3 delegates to attend (except the Isles of Scilly who pay £250)

The subscription includes:

  • 3 regional study days
  • Monthly huddle meetings
  • A contribution towards the costs of the annual 2-day conference
  • An annual case officer event.

Subscriptions are due in April each year and colleagues can opt for 2 or 3 places per year. On top of the subscription, additional places can be purchased for the study days at a cost of £40.00 per person.

The governance for the SEND Peer Network is through the Regional Innovation and Improvement Alliance (RIIA).
